I'm a shorter female human, (160cm) with a small head and probably average sized ears, compared to regular sized humans; just to draw a bit of a picture for you.That being said, there is a tiny bit of discomfort on my right ear when wearing them, kind of inside the ear like it is sitting on a nerve.It's barely enough to even mention, tbf.I walk EVERYWHERE, like close to 20km a day so earphones are a MAJOR necessity for me.I've had these earphones for a few months now. The discomfort was worse at first because I was trying to put/place/force the buds in my ear holes.Not necessary.Just let them sit, or hang from your ears and you'll be sweet.Try not to fiddle with them too much whilst wearing them and again, you'll be even sweeter.They're very secure on my ears, they don't need to be hooked completely, just over the top part of your ear and you can hear everything without a problem.The one-touch on/off switch is something I have mixed feelings about. It is really nice that a quick one-tap just shuts them off.Also, it is not so good when you're doing an exercise where your ear touches the floor and it just turns off. Or brushing your hair out of the way and you graze it.Sigh.In the end, you get used to it.Noise cancellation is left up to personal desire.Noise is not completely cancelled out and mostly because I never have them straight in my ears.If I'm at home and my flatmate is speaking to me in a normal tone, I can't hear him at all.When I'm walking down the street or on the metro I can hear (just enough), the sounds around me and mostly the sounds I need to hear so I'm personally satisfied with the level; you may not.Because I'm on the go most of the time, I do need the earphones for calls as well.I will say the call quality is clear and perfect when I'm listening to my caller speak.The caller can mostly hear me but if I'm faced with wind, the caller can not hear me at all and I have to cup my ears or dip in to a secure place, out of the wind so I can communicate properly; stopping my commute altogether and that's no good.Not many people call me and phone calls are never that long anyway, so it's not ruining my life.Battery life is just as amazing as the day I bought it, months later.I would say that the earphones are used approximately 3-4 hours a day and I charge them maybe every 2 weeks; I have never run the battery down to scratch as well.The mics/ear piece cushions are a great size, they don't collect dirt and ear wax horribly as others have for me in the past so, there's also that nice clean feeling to add to this review.The case is a bit big; I've seen others mention it in their reviews.They are a hooked earphone so it does make sense that the case will unfortunately be bigger and a bit inconvenient; if you care about things like that.I find the case sleek and easy to chuck in my backpack. It's sturdy and still in mint condition; no scratches.All in all, I am very glad I bought these. I have never been able to find a pair that can stay secure enough.Others have constantly fallen out and would have to wear something stupid like a headband to hold them in place; making me despise the fact that I got a phone without a phone jack and making me miss corded headphones so much.I have not one time been fearful of having them fall off.
