I like these Blackwire headsets a lot. It seems most corded headsets give out in a few years, so I go with the least expensive I can get that has good audio quality, especially the mic. These meet that spec. The speaker went intermittent after a little over 2 years of use. I opened up the control box on the cable and one insulated wire (white) had clearly been moving against an uninsulated braid, and worn open, then started to break. I separated the shielded brad insulating tape, but the speaker was still intermittent with movement. The wire was no longer continuous; I shortened it to above the apparent break and resoldered but it was still intermittent - there was another discontinuity farther up the wire. Even pricey ones eventually do this.Short version: Still worth the money.
