I bought the shure 425 pro, simgot supermix 4, and these iems to test which I like most for gaming, music and media. These sound wayyyyy better than the shure 425 I had and it’s only 25% of the price of shure 425. I can’t tell which is better for gaming between the simgot supermix 4 and these kz zs12 pro x. I love them both for their clear detailed sound. The shure 425 was fuzzy sounding with everything I threw at it. I have a fiio ka11 DAC I use for my iPhone listening. Rodecaster pro for gaming audio/microphone interface. The fiio ka11 can play in 32 bit while the rodecaster pro does 24 bit. All sound beautiful with the kz and simgot. The shure iem was just fuzzy no water what audio played through it. It kind of pissed me off that the shure quality was so trash. Overall I would recommend these to every single person I know because these sound like I’m immersed. Came with so many tips to fit my ear good. It had foam and silicone. Hopefully these last a long time for the price. That’s the only thing I’m scared of. I’ll do an update when they die out on me. As for now this is 5 stars for the money alllll day long-UPDATE- 2/4/25The iems still sound great. Haven’t heard any deterioration. The music sounds great still and videos sound good as well. Only complaint I have and it’s not the iems fault is the gunshots in Warzone were too loud. I had to EQ. I found gadgetry tech on YouTube and I use his squiglink EQ target for Warzone. So glad I found something on the internet to teach me how to figure out what frequencies need their dB decreased for a comfortable game session. I decreased the dB on my own gunshots, airstrikes, grenades, and increased the frequencies pertaining to enemy footsteps, occlusion noise(footsteps on the other side of a wall), increased dB for enemy gunshots, and the supply boxes got a decrease in dB because I want to hear footsteps through all the chaos when there’s a lot going on at once. I never loose track of an enemys footsteps when an airstrike is bombing me, or when a grenade blows up. For the money I can’t complain. I have other iems that do better with spatial imaging such as the supermix 4 and the FiiO fa19 but I still go back to these. For some reason the bass on these have less bass roll off and I like that. I think of the bass attack as the “B” in the word boom. It has good attack. The the “oom” is that rumble that lingers on after that bass hits. These have more “oom” than my expensive iems. I’m more of a “oom” guy I love the rumble it gives. Man for the price of these I enjoy them. I learned how to EQ and these do great for my liking
