How do I get the best fit from the foam earplugs? I currently use Elgin Rebel earbuds while working, mowing, etc. While great, if someone wants to talk to me I have to constantly take one earbud out, or if they need to get my attention they have to be in my line of sight or jump up and down. These Isotunes are weird at first, as I can hear my music, but can still hear ambient noise as well. I'm not used to that at all. But, I like it. I've used them twice now, and I can adjust the Aware tech to either let me hear a decent amount or not much at all. The noise suppression works very well. I've used them while using my Delta cabinet saw, as well as with my tracksaw and vacuum system. They choke the noise down to a very comfortable level, but not so much that I can't hear what's going on. Quite a few have complained about the sound quality. Remember, these aren't Bose, or Klipsch and aren't supposed to have audiophile quality sound. Said that, they do have what I consider decent sound with some tweaking. If you listen to Amazon Music, use the equalizer in the app. If you have a Samsung phone, use the sound setting in the menu. You'll be suprised at the difference in sound quality. As for claims of "white noise" when not playing music; yes, it's there. But, keep in mind that the sound you're hearing is being processed through the mics and internal software. It's different, but if you knock down the Aware level, it's not intolerable, to me at least. More often than not, I'll have music playing, so it won't be much of an issue to me. The fit and finish on the buds as well as the case are very nice, and both have a solid feel to them. As for the touch control, I find that it is effective. I will say that I find the time that I have issues is if I tap the control surfaces too quickly. It takes a second or two to get used to but once you get the hanvg of it, it seems fairly reliable. Over all, I'm pleased with the purchase. Time will tell as far as battery life and durability, so I'll update after getting to put these through their paces for a while. Initially though, I think these are going to make my life a little easier.
