Great things don't always need to cost a lot. These little fellas surprised me so much that I've got a 3 more of these for other people. What sets them apart is an atypical sound color, from modern fatiguing V shaped (exaggerated lows and highs with recessed mids) sounding headphones to a very relaxing/gentle music representation. These are by no means V shaped, nor they are anywhere near neutral sounding and this is what makes them outstanding for me. They have a pleasant rounded lows/lower midrange with slightly recessed highs. The highs are, however do not appear to be cut, they are just less protruding, but everything is still there. The main focus is on very open velvety midrange. The whole combination makes the sound very rich and pleasant for prolonged listening with absolutely no sense of ear tiring. If you love good clear midrange, like I do, give these a go. They remind me a little of Sens HD600, with a little less highs. Other people that I gave them to were pleasantly surprised.These do not have active noise cancelling, but they seal very well cutting out external noise quite well.I find they tend to fall out of ear if I move a lot.You'll have to experiment with the supplied seals of different sizes to find what sounds best to you.I have never run out of battery yet.If you would prefer a little more extension on the high frequencies side, the front grill can be removed, but please be aware this is a permanent modification. This shifts frequency response a little up and leaves drivers somewhat exposed to dirt and sweat. I have both versions, stock and grill-less and like them both.
